Agnostic G Gregory Surfaces

چکیده
We discuss G smoothness conditions for rectangular and triangular Gregory patches. We then incorporate these G conditions into a surface fitting algorithm. Knowledge of the patch type is inconsequential to the formulation of the G conditions, hence the term agnostic G Gregory surfaces.

متن کاملNew aspects of the C5a receptor
The process of apoptotic cell death for maintenance of cell homeostasis is now believed to be flexible. To examine the mechanism for this flexibility, the process of programmed cell death is sometimes divided into three phases: initiation, effector and execution. We have demonstrated that apoptotic cells commonly express a de novo synthesized C5a receptor (C5aR), which belongs to the G protein-...
متن کاملL_1 operator and Gauss map of quadric surfaces
The quadrics are all surfaces that can be expressed as a second degree polynomialin x, y and z. We study the Gauss map G of quadric surfaces in the 3-dimensional Euclidean space R^3 with respect to the so called L_1 operator ( Cheng-Yau operator □) acting on the smooth functions defined on the surfaces. For any smooth functions f defined on the surfaces, L_f=tr(P_1o hessf), where P_1 is t...
متن کاملAgnostic Boosting
We extend the boosting paradigm to the realistic setting of agnostic learning, that is, to a setting where the training sample is generated by an arbitrary (unknown) probability distribution over examples and labels. We deene a-weak agnostic learner with respect to a hypothesis class F as follows: given a distribution P it outputs some hypothesis h 2 F whose error is at most erP(F) + , where er...
متن کاملSome remarks on the size of bodies and black holes
We consider the application of stable marginally outer trapped surfaces to problems concerning the size of material bodies and the area of black holes. The results presented extend to general initial data sets (V, g,K) previous results assuming either maximal (trgK = 0) or time-symmetric (K = 0) initial data.
